More information has been released following a fatal accident that occurred earlier this weekend in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County.
According to State Police, a 36-year-old Jackson Center man was operating his motorcycle on Route 19 just after 1pm on Saturday when a second vehicle turned in front of him.
Authorities say that the motorcyclist then struck the passenger side doors of the car. The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown where he was later pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed.
