A Pittsburgh man has died following a one vehicle crash that occurred earlier this weekend in Findley Township, Mercer County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the 56-year-old man was riding his motorcycle on Interstate 79 South near the Interstate 80 entrance ramp around 5:30pm on Saturday when he drove off the roadway.
Authorities say that the motorcyclist then struck a ditch and a tree before coming to a final rest. Officials say that the man, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Weather is not believed to be a factor in Saturday’s crash.
