Police are investigating another so-called ‘distraction theft’ in Butler Township.
An elderly couple living on Seneca Drive were the victims.
According to Butler Township Police, two men claiming to work for a local roofing company came by the couple’s home Tuesday afternoon saying they wanted to talk about warranty repairs.
Once the men were let inside the home, one of them kept the couple busy while the other stole a large amount of money.
The pair was seen driving a red Jeep…either a Jeep Liberty or Jeep Patriot.
Police are urging residents not to allow anyone they don’t personally know into their homes.
