Police are asking for help finding the person responsible for a bizarre incident in Karns City over the weekend.
State Police say it was just before 8 p.m. on Saturday when a juvenile told them he was attacked in the woods by a person wearing a clown mask.
The boy told police he was near a wooded hillside beside Hooker Road and Kittanning Pike when he heard a woman scream. The boy says someone wearing a clown mask then emerged from the woods with a metal baseball bat, struck the boy in his right knee cap, and then ran back into the woods.
The victim was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
State police ask anyone with information on this incident to contact them.
