Butler Township Police confirmed that the device to steal credit card information was found at the Sam’s Club store in Butler Township.
It is possible that this incident could be related to similar card skimming devices found at Sam’s Club stores at Pittsburgh Mills as well as in Monroeville and West Mifflin. Two men from Romania are facing charges in connection with at least one of these thefts.
This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available. Residents are advised to monitor credit card statements closely for the possibility of fraudulent activity.
