A driver allegedly high on drugs was arrested Tuesday after crashing his SUV into a Butler Township home.
The accident happened about 10:30 p.m. on Old Plank Road.
Butler Township Police say 33-year-old Kurtis Wentling of Butler fled the scene after the crash, but police were able to catch him a short time later. He suffered minor injuries.
His passenger, 20-year-old Caitland Ringler of Venango County, was also hurt in the crash.
Police say Wentling is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs. He also allegedly did not have a valid license and was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
No word on how much damage was done to the home. No one inside the house at the time of the crash was hurt.
