One person was taken to the hospital following a crash in Butler Township.
The two-vehicle accident happened about 12:30 p.m. on Route 68 (Evans City Road) at Eberhart Road.
According to Butler Township Police, 43-year-old Robert Schreckengost of Freeport ran a red light on Eberhart Road and struck a van that was traveling westbound on Route 68. The van driver was 31-year-old Tamara Oviatt of Butler.
Schreckengost sustained minor injuries but refused treatment. Oviatt was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries described as moderate.
There were three juveniles in Oviatt’s van but they were not hurt.
