Police believe a Butler driver was drunk when he crashed his SUV into the front porch of a home.
Thomas Huff, 33, was traveling west along Old Route 422 in Franklin Township earlier this month, Feb. 11, when police say he lost control of his Chevy Tracker. His vehicle left the road, hit an embankment, went airborne, struck the front porch of a home and then overturned several times.
Huff was seriously hurt and taken to the hospital, according to police. No one inside the home was reportedly hurt.
Police plan to charge Huff with driving under the influence and for several traffic violations.
