A 21-year-old from Chicora is accused of driving under the influence before he crashed into a building over the weekend.
State police say the man crashed into the State Farm Insurance building on North Main Street in Chicora about 2:30 a.m. Saturday and then attempted to drive away. His vehicle became disabled on Poplar Road in Karns City.
Police did not identify the driver. DUI charges are pending blood test results.
Representatives at the Chicora office declined to comment on how much damage was done to their building. They did say no one was inside at the time of the crash and no employees were injured.
