Police are continuing to look for a Pittsburgh man who is accused of holding a gun to his ex-girlfriend’s head.
Nicholas Domek III, 72, allegedly came up from behind and held a handgun to a woman’s head as she was headed into work at Assisted Living at Rosebrook in Sarver on Monday morning.
“He was waiting for his ex-girlfriend as she approached the building. He came up from behind her, held a gun to her head, and demanded he leave with her. At that point, a struggle ensued. She fought back, knocking him to the ground. She then ran into the facility and called 911, and he fled the scene,” Buffalo Township Police Chief Tim Derringer said.
Police say Domek left in a red Chevy Cruise. He does have a prosthetic leg and he license plate designates a disability.
Police are considering Domek to be “armed and dangerous” and you should not approach him. Anyone who knows where he is should call 911.
