Police were involved in chasing a vehicle stolen by juveniles at Summit Academy Friday afternoon.
A red Volkswagen with West Virginia plates belonging to a staff member at the facility was stolen by multiple young men around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
State Police and other local police pursued the juveniles down Bonniebrook Road onto Route 356 then onto Route 28 south.
The vehicle eventually rolled over near Exit 15 Natrona Heights of Route 28 and the individuals in the car ran off into a nearby wooded area. Canine officers were brought in to track the juveniles but it is unknown at this time if they were all apprehended.
UPDATE: All three juveniles were apprehended by 8:30 p.m. Friday evening, one by Harrison Twp. police and the other two were caught near Ridge Road in Fawn Twp. The students are 16, 17 and 18 years old.
