State Police in Butler are expected to release more information Wednesday afternoon regarding an East Butler woman who overdosed while she was pregnant.
Police have already charged 30-year-old Kasey Dischman with a felony charge of aggravated assault of an unborn child but more charges could be coming depending on the fate of the baby.
Dischman was allegedly more than seven months pregnant when she overdosed last week at her East Butler home. She was taken to the hospital and soon after delivered the baby by emergency c-section.
The newborn is reportedly in severe condition.
