Police believe two burglaries late last week in Butler County may be connected.
Both happened on Thursday- one at a home in Center Township and another at a home in Oakland Township.
According to State Police in Butler, someone got into a residence on Brown Road in Center by breaking in the front door. Once inside, police say the suspect stole money and jewelry.
On the same morning, someone got inside a home on Pine Tract Road in Oakland through an unlocked back porch window. Once inside, the actor or actors stole money and prescription drugs.
State Police say there was evidence found at both scenes that lead them to believe it was the same person or group of people.
An investigation continues.
