The Nascar Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway in eastern Pennsylvania was rained out Sunday and will be run today. It is the first time in track history that both Cup races this season were postponed to a Monday start. The race will begin just after 11am today and can be heard on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com beginning at 10:45am. Martin Truex, Jr. will start from the pole position. Jeff Gordon is driving the #88 car in place of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Winners at the NHRA drag races in Sonoma, California Sunday: John Force won the Funny Car event over Ron Capps. J.R. Todd took the Top Fuel race. Greg Anderson won the Pro Stock.
