A local group is making a donation to Butler County Community College that will go toward their adult literacy program.
The Butler PM Rotary presented a $20,000 check to BC3 at their annual “Changing of the Guard” dinner earlier this week.
The funds were raised during the Luncheon for Literacy event that was held at the college over the winter.
Bc3 officials say there was a record number of students that graduated from the “English as a Second Language” program this year, which falls under the adult literacy program.
Butler PM Rotary also introduced Sean Pugh as the new President of the club.
