A planned power outage later this week at the Butler Area Sewer Authority Sewage Treatment Plant could affect customers.
According to the sewer authority, West Penn Power needs to replace electrical service lines to the plant all day on Thursday, Nov. 10.
The shutdown will affect office operations and restrict phone service to the plant. Walk-in customers will be accommodated but the drive-through window will be closed and there will be no ability to respond to account or billing questions.
