The promoter of this year’s cancelled Three Rivers Regatta in Pittsburgh has formally filed for bankruptcy.
LionHeart Event Group filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last Friday. The promoter had been responsible for event management of the regatta for the past several years, before backing out this year.
LionHeart claims to have $500,000 to $1 million in liabilities.
In addition to the regatta, LionHeart had sponsored other events in the area, including a 2018 music festival at Cooper’s Lake Campground in Slippery Rock.
