The Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport will soon have a new manager.
The Butler County Airport Authority recently hired Michael Biggs to the position starting next month.
Biggs most recently worked as the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative and Project Manager for the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority. He has a strong working relationship with the FAA and understands their operations as well as funding procedures.
The national search firm Aviation Search Group LLC helped with the process to screen qualified applicants.
