The Pittsburgh Panthers continue to prepare for their upcoming appearance in the Peach Bowl, Head Coach Pat Narduzzi has named current tight ends coach Tim Salem as the offensive coordinator for the game against Michigan State on Thursday night, replacing the now departed Mark Whipple.
Salem has served as the Pitt Tight Ends coach since 2015, having previously been the offensive coordinator at Purdue, Eastern Michigan and UCF.
