The Pitt Panthers have lost last season’s ACC Player of the Year James Conner for the season. Conner tore and MCL in his right knee Saturday in the Panthers season-opener against Youngstown State. He was injured in the second quarter, and left after gaining 77 yards on eight carries. He had already scored two touchdowns.
