The Pitt Panther football team has moved up to number-23 in the rankings this week following their last second 23-20 victory over Syracuse Saturday. The Panthers improved to 6-1 under first-year head coach Pat Narduzzi. Pitt will host North Carolina at Heinz Field this Thursday night. Kick-off is 7pm.
One of Pitt’s future opponents this season, Miami has fired head coach Al Golden following the Hurricanes 58-0 loss to Clemson Saturday. It was the worst loss in program history. Pitt will host Miami on the Friday after Thanksgiving at Heinz Field.
