Pitt has found a replacement for former Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jaime Dixon, who left last week after 13 years at Pitt to become the Head Coach at his alma mater TCU.
Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings reportedly received an offer for the top position at Pitt late Saturday night. Sources say that he accepted the position on Sunday.
At Vanderbilt, the 55-year-old Stallings compiled a record of 332-220 (138-142 in SEC play) over 17 seasons. He also coached current Panther Sheldon Jeter at Vanderbilt.
