The Pitt Panthers needed two overtimes to defeat Wake Forest last night at the Petersen Events Center. Wake Forest entered last night’s game on a 10-game losing streak, but the Panthers could not put them away in regulation before pulling out the 101-96 win. The victory snapped a Pitt three game losing streak. Their record improved to 18-7.
Duquesne and George Washington meet tonight at the Palumbo Center. Tip-off is 7pm. The Dukes are 15-10. George Washington is 18-7.
#10-ranked West Virginia fell to Texas for the second time this season, dropping an 85-78 decision last night. The Mountaineers are now 20-6 overall.
