The Pittsburgh Pirates’ five game winning streak was snapped on the road Saturday, as the Texas Rangers handed the Bucs a 5-2 loss.
Saturday provided the Pirates’ batting order with yet another struggle, as the Bucs left 19 runners on base, and only managed seven total hits while striking out a combined eleven times. John Jaso had the hottest bat for the Pirates, as he collected two hits in the losing effort. Juan Nicasio received the loss after starting on the mound for the Buccos.
The Bucs will wrap up their three game series with the Rangers Sunday afternoon. First pitch will be at 3:05pm. You can catch all of the action, starting with pregame coverage on WISR 680AM.
