The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-6 in exhibition baseball Wednesday. The game was delayed by rain into the mid-afternoon. Oneil Cruz hit his second home run of the preseason. Joey Bart went back-to-back with Cruz in the fourth inning with his second round-tripper. Mitch Keller became the first Pirate to pitch into the fourth inning of a game. He allowed a run on just one hit. He walked three and struck out three.
The Pirates visit the Baltimore Orioles for a night game tonight at 6:05pm. Paul Skenes will start for the Bucs.
