The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-3 Tuesday in Grapefruit League play. Pirate starter Trevor Williams, who is in the mix for the fifth spot in the Pirates starting rotation, allowed two earned runs in 2-2/3rds innings. Another starter in the mix, Steven Brault, pitched three scoreless innings. Adam Frazier had two hits and scored a run. Outfield prospect Austin Meadows hit his first home run of the spring, while first baseman Jose Osuna hit his third.
