The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed free agent left-handed pitcher Jose Quintana. The 32-year old pitched for the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants last season.
Quintana did struggle to a 6.43 ERA over 29 games last season, which included 10 starts. He still struck out a career-high average of 12.1 per nine innings.
