The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-0 last night at PNC Park, in the opening game of a three-game series. The Brewers jumped on rookie starting pitcher Luis Oviedo for eight runs, six earned, in the first two innings. The Pirates managed just four hits, with two hits each from catcher Jacob Stallings and outfielder Ben Gamel.
The two teams play again tonight at 7:05pm. Hear the game on WISR 680am beginning at 6:40pm.
