The Pittsburgh Pirates avoided a sweep by the Colorado Rockies with a 10-2 victory Wednesday afternoon. The Bucs pounded 13 hits, led by Adam Frazier, who had three hits and scored twice. Josh Bell drove in three and Sean Rodriguez hit his second home run of the season. Pirate starter Chad Kuhl allowed one run over six innings. He gave up four hits and struck out four.
