The Pittsburgh Pirates took two of three games in a weekend series with the Los Angeles Dodgers following an 11-3 win Sunday. The Pirates hit three home runs in the game, scoring five runs in the first inning on home runs by Jordy Mercer and Sean Rodriguez, and four runs in the ninth inning that included a Jung Ho Kang home run. Chad Kuhl won his third game of the season, allowing two runs over six innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out five.
The Bucs begin a three-game series with the San Francisco Giants tonight. First pitch is 10:15pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 9:45pm.
Ryan Vogelsong will start for the Pirates.
