Sean Rodriguez has signed a two-year $11 million contract with the Atlanta Braves. Rodriguez has served as a primary utility player for the Pirates and hit 18 home runs last season.The Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners completed a five-player trade Wednesday. The deal sent shortstop Jean Segura, who had 20 home runs and 33 stolen bases last season for Arizona along with the Diamondbacks 2016 Minor League Player of the year in outfielder Mitch Haniger along with left-handed reliever Zac Curtis for starting pitcher Taijuan Walker and shortstop Ketel Marte.
