The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped another game against the host Cubs Saturday afternoon by a final of 8-2.
The Cubs, led by pitcher Jake Arrieta, held the Pirates hitless until the fourth inning, when Andrew McCutchen started off the inning with a double, en route to the Pirates scoring both of their runs and taking the lead. The Buccos’ pitching staff, led by starter Jeff Locke, could not hold the lead for long, as Locke gave up three runs alone in the bottom of the fourth.
The Bucs will look to avoid the sweep against the Cubs Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field. You can catch all of the action, starting with pregame coverage on WISR 680AM. First pitch for Sunday’s matchup will be at 2:20pm.
