After tossing 16 consecutive shutout innings, Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller has been named the National League Player of the Week. He allowed a total of eight hits over the two games and struck out 21. He is the second Pirate to receive the award this season, following Bryan Reynolds in April. Keller is the first Pirates pitcher to win the award since Jameson Taillon in April of 2018.
