The Pittsburgh Pirates open a two-game series with the Detroit Tigers tonight at 7:10pm. WISR pre-game begins at 6:45pm. Luis Ortiz will start for the Bucs.
The Pirates enter the game 22-19 overall and one game behind first-place Milwaukee, who lost 18-1 to St. Louis Monday. The Tigers are 18-21.
The teams play an afternoon game Wednesday, then the Pirates have another off-day Thursday. The Pirates return home to open a six-game homestand Friday.
