The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Colorado Rockies during a wet game at home on Saturday afternoon by a final of 5-1.
Three errors by Pirates’ fielders, along with 21 runners left on base and several controversial calls by the officiating crew contributed to the losing effort for the Buccos. With the loss, the Pirates now hold a 23-19 record on the 2016 season.
The Bucs will close out their series with the Rockies Sunday afternoon at PNC Park. You can catch all of Sunday’s action on WISR 680AM. First pitch is set for 1:35pm.
