The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the San Diego Padres on Saturday night, falling by a final of 4-3.
Leading the Bucs offensively was Gregory Polanco, who finished with two hits, two walks, and one RBI. David Freese collected two hits, and Austin Meadows collected one hit and one RBI in the losing effort. Trevor Williams started on the mound for the Buccos, and he pitched four and two-thirds innings, giving up all four runs while striking out four.
