The Pittsburgh Pirates lost an intense game to the Washington Nationals yesterday afternoon by a final of 6-0.
Nothing really seemed to go right for the Bucco’s, as they struggled both offensively and defensively. Nationals’ pitcher Max Scherzer took a perfect game into the top of the ninth, where he hit Jose Tabeta with two outs. However, Scherzer still earned the no-hitter, as he forced Josh Harrison to fly out to left field to end the game.
The two teams will meet up in Washington again this afternoon at 1:35pm. You can catch all of the action, starting with prerace coverage on WISR 680AM.
