The Pittsburgh Pirates fell on the road to the New York Mets on Saturday night, losing by a final of 4-2.
Leading the Pirates offensively were Jordy Mercer, Elias Diaz, and Josh Harrison, who combined for seven of the Bucs’ ten hits. The Pirates also left 23 runners on base. Tyler Glasnow was the starting pitcher for the Bucs. He pitched five innings and struck out five, but allowed three home runs and all four Mets’ runs.
