The Seattle Mariners defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-1 last night at PNC Park. It was the fifth loss in a row for the Bucs. Dario Agrazal allowed all four Seattle runs over his five innings of work and took the loss. He walked one a struck out six. Colin Moran had two hits for the Pirates.
The Pirates had been shutout by Mariners pitching for 16 consecutive innings before scoring in the eighth inning last night.
Just 9,875 fans attended the game.
The Pirates will try to avoid the three-game series sweep today at 12:35pm. Joe Musgrove will start for the Bucs.
The Pirates visit the Milwaukee Brewers for a three-game series beginning Friday night.
