The Pittsburgh Pirates lost their seventh straight game on Saturday, as they fell to the Dodgers in Los Angeles by a final of 3-1.
Joe Musgrove started on the mound for the Pirates. He pitched six and two-third innings, and allowed seven hits and all three runs while striking out five. Adam Frazier drove in Pablo Reyes for the team’s lone run. Saturday’s loss also drops the Pirates’ overall record to 12-13.
In other news, the Pirates placed pitcher Chris Archer on the 10-day disabled list with right thumb inflammation. Michael Feliz was recalled from Indianapolis to fill the spot.
