The Pittsburgh Pirates lost 4-3 in 10-innings last night to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tony Watson blew his first save of the season in the bottom of the 9th inning, and Daniel Hudson took the loss in the 10th. Ivan Nova scattered seven hits, allowing two runs while pitching into the seventh innings. John Jaso hit a pinch-hit home run for the Bucs, who managed just four hits.
The Pirates and Dodgers wrap-up their three game series tonight at 10:10pm. WISR will join the game following Penguins hockey. The Pirates travel to Arizona after the game.
The Pirates have decided to end a pre-season flip of their outfielders, with Gregory Polanco moving back to right field. The Pirates had to move Andrew McCutchen from right to center field when Starling Marte was suspended for steroid use. Polanco began the season in left field.
