The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Chicago Cubs 8-2 Thursday at PNC Park. The Cubs pounded 13 hits, 11 of them off Pirates starter Jameson Taillon, who allowed six earned runs in 4-2/3rds innings. Eight of the Cubs hits went for extra bases. The Pirates are in St. Louis to begin a three-game series tonight. First pitch is 8:15pm.
