The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped their third straight game on Saturday, as they fell to the Chicago Cubs by a final of 2-0.
Rookie outfielder Austin Meadows collected the lone hit for the Pirates, who are currently in fourth place in the National League Central. The Bucs, who are eight games back of the Milwaukee Brewers, have an overall record of 31-33. Catcher Francisco Cervelli left Saturday’s game after he was hit in the jaw with a foul ball.
