The Pirates snapped their two game winning streak Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, losing to the Dodgers by a final of 8-4.
Gerrit Cole started on the mound for the Bucs, and pitched four and one-third innings. He allowed 12 hits and six runs, while striking out three Dodger batters. Defensively, the Pirates where charged with three errors, two of which were on the same play after third baseman Jung Ho Kang bobbled a grounder and overthrew first base.
Offensively, Jung Ho Kang lead the Pirates with two hits, two RBI, and one home run. Catcher Francisco Cervelli collected three hits, and Starling Marte collected two hits and two runs.
