The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost two games in a row for the first time this season, after falling 2-0 to the Colorado Rockies last night. Trevor Williams lost his first game of the season, allowing two runs on four hits over six innings. Both teams had five hits in the game. Jordy Mercer had two of the Pirate hits.
Just 8,800 fans were in attendance last night at PNC Park during the snow and cold weather.
The Pirates wrap-up the series with the Rockies today at 12:35pm. Chad Kuhl starts for the Bucs. The Pirates head to Philadelphia to open a four-game series Thursday.
