The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Atlanta Braves 6-5 last night, in a game that featured a lengthy rain delay. Tony Watson blew his second save of the season, allowing the Braves two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning. That came after the Pirates had scored two in the top of the inning to take a 5-4 lead.
Starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow allowed two runs on nine hits over six innings. The two teams combined for 30 hits in the game. Josh Harrison and Glasnow had three hits, and Jordy Mercer drove in three.
