With a 6-5 win over the Dodgers on Saturday, the Pittsburgh Pirates extended their winning streak to three.
Offensively, the Pirates hit two home runs in the game. Neil Walker hit a monster of a solo shot, and starting pitcher Francisco Liriano hit one to left field. Andrew McCutchen also hit his 1,100th career hit during the strong offensive output. Liriano received the no-decision after pitching for five innings.
The Pirates will look for the series sweep against the Dodgers this evening at PNC Park. The game will be nationally televised, with the first pitch just after 8pm. Charlie Morton will take the mound for the pirates.
