The Pittsburgh Pirates snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-3 comeback victory last night against the Philadelphia Phillies. Felipe Rivero allowed the Phillies a go-ahead run in the eighth inning, but ended up winning the game. Tony Watson pitched a perfect ninth inning for his 12th save.

The two teams play again tonight at 7:05pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:40pm.
The Pirates have placed pitcher Gerrit Cole on the 60-day disabled list with elbow inflammation. Catcher Chris Stewart has also been placed on the 60-day DL and may have to have serious knee surgery.
