The Pittsburgh Pirates were victorious against the visiting Cleveland Indians last night by a final of 1-0.
Pirates’ starting pitcher Jeff Locke pitched a great game against the Indians, surrendering only two hits over eight innings of work. With the win, Locke improves his 2015 record to 5-4.
Offensively for the Pirates, Josh Harrison went 2-for-4 at the plate and scored the deciding run. Pittsburgh native Neil Walker drove in Harrison with an RBI single in the 6th inning.
The Pirates will wrap up their three game series with the Indians this afternoon at 1:35pm. All of the action, starting with pregame coverage, can be heard on WISR 680AM.
