The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the visiting Philidelphia Phillies yesterday at PNC Park by a final of 7-4.
The Bucs were led offensively by Gregory Polanco who had one hit and two RBI, and Francisco Cervelli, who collected two hits and one RBI. Although the Pirates only collected eight total hits, a five run 5th inning provided too costly for the Phillies. Rookie Tyler Glasnow started on the mound for the Bucs, and only pitched three innings.
The Pirates and Phillies meet again this afternoon to wrap up their three game series. You can catch all of the action, starting with pregame coverage on WISR 680AM. First pitch is set for 1:35pm.
